The world's smallest egg

Donnie Russell claimed to have just discovered a very mini-sized egg with a length of 2.1 centimeters, or slightly larger than a penny coin. Egg weighs 3.46 grams.

This man from West Virginia said super mini eggs are found in the last month on his farm.

"This is a rare thing. We need to investigate why this could occur. I do not even know what to say when I first got it," Donnie said, as quoted Dailymail, the last in 2011.

Donnie claims, finding eggs is eggs the smallest in the world. However, to guarantee the truth needs to be done further research.

Guinness World Records lists the smallest chicken egg recorded as 2.7 cm Although the size of a man from England earlier this year claimed to have an egg the size of two millimeters smaller.

Meanwhile, Donnie plans to preserve the unique egg these findings. He named it egg John Spencer Russell, in honor of two grandsons, John Kenny Russell and Russell Matthew Spencer.
